Learn About DeepView Imaging

How DeepView Imaging relates to BotImage and ProstatID™

BotImage develops ProstatID™, an FDA-cleared AI software platform used in prostate MRI analysis. DeepView Imaging is a separate patient-facing service that uses ProstatID™ technology for analyzing existing prostate MRI studies.

The two offerings serve different roles. ProstatID™ is designed for clinical workflows and provider use. DeepView Imaging gives patients (or their physicians) who already have a prostate MRI a way to obtain an AI-supported analysis report and annotated images that can be shared with their care team.

DeepView Imaging is intended to support physician-led care. It does not replace radiologist interpretation, pathology, biopsy, or physician judgment, and it does not provide treatment recommendations.

How the patient pathway works

  1. Patient already has a prostate MRI
DeepView Imaging is intended for patients with an existing qualifying prostate MRI study.
  2. MRI images are uploaded to DeepView Imaging
The patient, or a provider working with the patient, uploads DICOM files through DeepView Imaging’s platform.
  3. AI-supported analysis is performed using ProstatID™
The MRI is processed to generate structured imaging output, including annotated images and a report.
  4. Results are returned for physician discussion
The patient can share the report and images with a radiologist, urologist, or other treating clinician as part of a broader clinical discussion.

Guidance for radiologists, urologists, and healthcare organizations

For Radiologists

DeepView Imaging may be relevant when a patient presents with an outside prostate MRI and wants an additional AI-supported analysis to discuss with the treating team. The output should be interpreted in clinical context and does not replace the radiologist’s read.

For Urologists and Primary Care Physicians

DeepView Imaging can help support conversations around existing MRI findings by providing structured visual output that can be reviewed as part of physician-patient discussion. Biopsy, surveillance, and treatment decisions remain clinician-led.

For Healthcare Systems and Imaging Centers

This page describes a separate patient-access pathway. It is not a substitute for enterprise deployment of ProstatID™ within your clinical workflow, PACS environment, or institutional reading process.

If your organization is evaluating workflow integration, visit our ProstatID™ page or contact BotImage.

Limitations and responsible use

AI-supported analysis is one input that may support clinical review. It should not be used as the sole basis for diagnosis, biopsy decisions, treatment recommendations, or ongoing management.

Results should be interpreted together with the underlying MRI, clinical history, laboratory data, pathology where available, and the physician’s own judgment.

If a patient is seeking review after treatment, post-treatment interpretation questions should be discussed with the treating physician and checked against DeepView Imaging’s current eligibility guidance.

Important information

DeepView Imaging is a separate service that uses ProstatID™ technology. Use of DeepView Imaging is subject to DeepView Imaging’s own terms, privacy notices, eligibility requirements, and clinician review processes.

ProstatID™ is FDA-cleared as a concurrent reading aid for physicians interpreting prostate MRI from compatible MRI systems in healthcare facilities or hospitals. Outputs should not be used as the sole basis for diagnosis or treatment decisions.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the relationship between BotImage, ProstatID™, and DeepView Imaging?

BotImage develops ProstatID™, an FDA-cleared prostate MRI AI platform. DeepView Imaging is a separate patient-facing service that uses ProstatID™ technology for qualifying existing prostate MRI studies.

Who is this pathway intended for?

It is intended for patients who already have a prostate MRI and want an AI-supported analysis report to review with their physician.
It is also available for physicians who want an AI-supported “second-opinion” analysis for any of their patients.

Does DeepView Imaging replace a radiologist or physician?

No. DeepView Imaging is intended to support physician-led care and should not replace radiologist interpretation, pathology, or physician judgment.  It should be used as another data point to support review of a prior interpretation or identify areas that may warrant further review.

Does a patient need a new MRI to use DeepView Imaging?

No new MRI is implied by this pathway. DeepView Imaging is intended for patients who already have a qualifying prostate MRI study.

Can patients access AI-supported prostate MRI analysis if their imaging center does not offer ProstatID™?

Yes. Patients who already have a prostate MRI can upload it through DeepView Imaging to have it analyzed by ProstatID. Any results should be reviewed with the patient’s physician as part of the broader clinical picture.

Do patients need a referral?

DeepView Imaging currently states that a referral is not required. Patients should review current DeepView requirements directly and discuss any results with their physician.

Does DeepView Imaging provide medical advice or treatment recommendations?

No. The service is presented as AI-supported analysis intended to inform discussion with the treating clinician.

Can a physician upload a prostate MRI on behalf of their patient?

Yes.  Physicians can register with DeepView Imaging and upload an MRI on behalf of their patient for analysis with ProstatID.

An alternative, though less common, pathway is to transfer the patient’s MRI via PowerShare to “Precision Prostate Consulting”*

* Note: DeepView Imaging is a service of Precision Prostate Consulting, LLC.

What if our institution wants ProstatID™ in its own workflow?

If your goal is provider deployment, PACS-connected workflow, or enterprise evaluation, please contact BotImage about ProstatID™.

Is a contrast MRI (mpMRI) required?

No. ProstatID can process both bpMRI (non-contrast) and mpMRI (contrast)

ProstatID only requires the following non-contrast sequences, which are part of a bpMRI and typically included with an mpMRI.

  1. T2-weighted (T2W)
  2. Diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI)
